It was morning, but the sun refused to show itself. The sky was a deep, dreary blue, and the clouds were heavy with rain. It matched my mood perfectly. I had been struggling for weeks now--ever since I made that one mistake. I had hit a low point and didn't know how to pick myself up again.
I walked slowly down the street, my head down and my hands in my pockets. I felt like a failure, like I had let everyone down. I had worked so hard to get where I was, and now it seemed like it was all for nothing.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew through the streets, chasing away the clouds and bringing with it a ray of sunshine. The bright light illuminated a sign in front of me that read: "Our challenges are great for you if you're feeling stuck, unmotivated, or confused about which direction to take."
I stared at the sign for a moment before turning around and walking back inside. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after all.
