How to Achieve Success with Online Courses
I know, I know. These days, everyone seems to be talking about how it's simple to launch an online course and that it’s the best way to skyrocket your success.
Sorry, but they are wrong. Know why? Launching an online course will NOT bring in the big money while you sleep.
FIRST, you need to build an audience of people who want what you offer.
NEXT, you need to conduct your market research to confirm that you can give people what they want--not what they need.
THEN, you have to learn the basics of e-learning design so that you can actually create a course that’s engaging and gets your students the results they want.
BUT WAIT! There’s more. Once you’ve actually created your course structure and materials, you need to get it online. Now you need to get your course onto an online platform complete with:
and ensure that it’s all working as it should before you launch. You will also need to start creating content to attract your audience and paid ads to drive even more traffic.
Does any of this sound passive to you?
Actually, there are multiple ways to achieve success with online courses and, lucky for YOU, you’re hanging around ME because I’m going to cut through the crap and give you the straight goods (it’s kind of what I’m known for).
Honestly, I'm tired of the so-called “gurus” telling you that you’re going to make 7-figures in just a week by creating an online course! I can’t tell you how many of my clients and students who’ve enrolled in one of the online programs created by "gurus" only to get to a certain point and then not be able to get the help they need to complete their vision, and they almost always say, “Rachel, I wish I would have found you sooner!"
So then WHY are some people still buying into the complicated, expensive, methods to get their course launched?
I’ll tell you why. They either:
Additionally, what stops a lot of people from creating an online course is they don't think they have enough technical experience to create and launch one. Well think again. You can launch a successful course without spending a whole lot of time researching the tech tools. I assure you, if you are able to save a file to your computer, I promise you can create and launch an online course.
When you’re sorting out which tech tools will suit you best, focus on three key decision-making factors: budget, your technical status, and the tools you already have:
But. believe it or not, selecting the right tech tools is not the most important element of creating a successful online course. The most important part of creating an online course is delivering a learning experience that creates a transformation for your students.
If YOU want it to be EASIER or FASTER, then I have the perfect thing for you. Check out our Done for You and Done With You tech solutions.
Because it doesn’t have to be as complicated as THEY would have you believe!
