Nothing Occurs Until They Feel Something
Entrepreneurs do not want business cards or brochures. Both of those things are only mechanisms to get what they want. And what they really want is BUSINESS.
A pregnant woman does not want the labor pains--she wants the baby.
You want to sell the DESTINATION--not the travel. Think about it. Traveling is the least enjoyable portion of a vacation for most people but that's never what you see in the advertisement for the vacation.
What should YOU do? You want to sell FEELINGS. People don't really want money. People want what money will buy them. They want what money will do for them. They want the options it gives them. They want the feelings of security, joy, and more.
Einstein said:
We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.
Dan Sullivan says:
The problem is not the problem. The problem is that you don't even know how to think about the problem.
So I say, "The opportunity is not the opportunity. The opportunity is how you think about the opportunity.”
You can be perceived to be just like everyone else out there OR you can frame, position, and package beforehand what you do and transform your business.
