Are You Confident?
Are you confident? Confidence is nothing more than trusting yourself to handle whatever comes your way. Confidence generally speaking, is not lost overnight. It slowly erodes away like a riverbank erodes away by the water flowing by it.
Most people do not wake up and declare they were 100 percent confident yesterday and lost it somewhere last night.
It happens for a variety of reasons, usually due to you not keeping your word with yourself. It is easy to get out of integrity with self. For example, have you ever stated that you wanted to lose weight or get fit? Everyone has had some sort of goal like that and then they skipped going to the gym or they ate dessert.
We all set goals, make strategies and then somewhere along the way we deviate off into the ditch of disappointment and make it mean something about ourselves.
What would it mean about you if you reached and achieved higher than you ever have? Create that story in your head. Take steps toward it everyday, keep your eye on the ball and show yourself grace when you stumble. It is more important that you get back up and go again rather than letting the stumbling be the point of focus.
