When you plunged into the world of entrepreneurship, you soon realized that there are plenty of experts that you can listen to. And that are all yelling advice that is entirely conflicting. But, since you need someone to show you the ropes, you enroll in a course or program to learn their success system, which leads to a domino effect of:
- Reinventing the wheel in your business as you start implementing one planning method after another because nothing seems to work for you.
- Chasing shiny objects hoping that THIS trend will be THE ONE thing that will finally improve your business;however, you always end up right where you began.
- Spinning around in circles because you’re doing an insane amount of work and still not getting results--not to mention not having momentum to speak of in your business.
- Tilting towards entrepreneurial burn-out as your business runs you rather than you actually beingin control of your business.

Then, when you return to said business expert and question their “proven success system”, they instruct you to work on your mindset and hustle more.
I’m so over it. You?
So many female entrepreneurs come to work with me after they’ve tried all.the.things to earn a lucrative income and see sustainable growth. They are exhausted from doing, doing, doing and grinding out 60+ hours per week.
If this is you, don’t blame yourself because we all have been fed the hustle-your-behind-off-to-be-a-millionaire lie for much too long. Hustling doesn’t work for 99 percent of female entrepreneurs. They also have told us:
- “If you’re not getting results, you’re not working hard enough.”
- “Hustle harder, work longer hours, sleep less.”
- “It’s a level playing field. If I can do it, you can do it.”
Well, we know that’s just not the truth.
The reality looks more like getting your work done in strategic time clusters, tucked in around homeschooling, mom’s cab service, baby’s napping time, handling a household, caring for aging parents, etc.
We need a solid plan of go-to strategies in place so that we can successfully maneuver each twist and turn—from the tiny tap on the shoulder to the global pandemic.
Another glaring issue that hustle culture conveniently ignores is our basic human need to have a life outside of thebusiness or career. What good does it do to earn a 7-figure income if you are unhealthy, have alienated your family, and don’t have a life.
What if we stopped defining success by income at all costs?
Now, I am just as passionate about what I do as you are, but let’s be real. You need dedicated time for yourself, your health, loved ones, and anything else that you value.
The truth about building a sustainable, gratifying business is not sexy. I prefer actually having a life beyond my business over a flashy, sexy, hustle-hard motivational speech!
A business-building plan helps you:
- Produce a sustainable rhythm in both business and life that works well with your energy level and commitments, rather than having to neglect your personal life or health in favor of your business
- Strategically drive your long term and daily actions with your plan, rather than being reactive, putting out fires, and drowning in hours of busy work
- Be productive and purposeful as you work, and mellow and present when you’re not working, rather than checking your email and WhatsApp every minute during dinner
- Launch lucrative offers that your clients love and you’re excited to deliver, rather than feeling completely drained and disenchanted at the end of your work day.
Now doesn’t STRATEGY over hustle feel much better?
